This Slytherin Life

This Slytherin Life welcomes contributions from members of all Hogwarts houses. We are looking for brief reflective essays, first-person testimonials, or journalistic non-fiction that explores the connection between Snape and human nature or current issues. The tone may be gloomy, ironic, absurd, or even thought-provoking. Preference will be given to contributions that range between 3-5 minutes when read.

Please attach the submission to an email and send to slytherinlife@snapecast.com, with “This Slytherin Life” in the subject line. Alternatively, a file may be submitted as a link to the recording through a web-based site such as yousendit.com. Text-only submissions may be considered, although recorded submissions will be given preference.

Please note that each This Slytherin Life segment includes one or more music snippets. Contributors who have copyright concerns must include a selection from magnatune.com or another podsafe music archive along with their submission.

Detention Intervention

In the Detention Intervention segment, people who share their lives with the Snape-obsessed can voice their experiences, feelings, and insights into the situation, and can speak out their own viewpoints on Severus Snape. Your family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers are longing to have their opinions about you and Snape heard! Both critical and supportive viewpoints are welcome.

Please attach the submission to an email and send to rose@snapecast.com, with “Detention Intervention” in the subject line. Alternatively, a file may be submitted as a link to the recording through a web-based site such as yousendit.com. Text-only submissions may be considered, although recorded submissions will be given preference.
