First we have a really nice Snape wand action shot…
And then the infamous Unbreakable Vow scene…
And we have to wait HOW long to see this film?
The Curse of the Halfblood Prince?
// August 15th, 2008In light of today’s announcement that the release of Harry Potter and the Halfblood Prince will be pushed to July 2009, many Snape fen are wondering if the film is cursed. How are we supposed to survive the winter without our Snapey fix?
The official movie web site reflects the change and a rationalization for the move can be found here.
But there is a silver lining on this pair of graying underpants: the new release date coincides with Azkatraz, HPEF’s 2009 conference in San Fransisco. The organizers have arranged tickets at a nearby IMAX for the first midnight showing. For more information check out the announcement here or join the Azkatraz LJ community.

to get those snarky juices flowing! As you may have noticed, we
here at Snapecast are still riding high on the energy and excitement
of all the Snapey events this summer. And it appears that we’re not
alone; many Snapefans are experiencing fresh bursts of inspiration
and creativity when it comes to our favourite Greasy Git.
Snapecast would like to invite our listeners to share some of that
inspiration by sending us a This Slytherin Life or Detention
Intervention segment. More than a year after the publication of
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, how do you feel about Snape?

Half-blood Prince Teaser Trailer has no Half-blood Prince
// July 29th, 2008We are happy to report that the teaser trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince has finally been released and is viewable via this link. Unfortunately the previews do not include an appearance by the title character, Severus Snape. Poor Sevy.
Because Warner Brothers won’t give us our Snapey fix, Snapecast will be putting out a special “Happy Birthday Harry” episode featuring audio from the live Snapecast at Portus. Stay tuned for upcoming episodes featuring audio from SnapeFest and full coverage of the upcoming HBP film.
