Snape’s Death Filmed

// February 20th, 2010

Although any good Snape fan is well aware of the fact that the professor does not actually die in the last book, Warner Brothers has announced that the Snape death scene has been filmed. At least we know he’ll be in the last film! Now let’s hope that the scene is longer than 2 minutes…

    I know Snape is alive because he was recently heard on Youtube reading Shakespeare Sonnet 130 for Valentines Day. He used an obvious pseudonym “Al An Rick Mann”, trying for a muggle-sounding name, apparently.

    Let’s hope that it doesn’t look like the death scene in “Sweeney Todd” either…

    As crappy as HBP was, it is only fair that they spare our beloved potions Master.

    I hope JKR opens up the franchise, like George Lucas did. Then we may be able to rectify this error.

    Alan Rickman always goes all out for death scenes so I think we can expect him to look quite yucky during this scene. Hopefully Snape himself won’t go and see it and be really offended, as we all know he’s alive really. xx

    I like to refer to it as the ‘Shrieking Shack’ scene – he does appear to die at one point, but the time-turner/dittany/phoenix tears -( take your pick) saves the day!
