Why wasn’t this in the movie? It was so I wouldn’t burst out BAWLING before anything had even happened yet. Much agreement in the way of lots of Snape!hugs.

I agree with Cosima. On my copy of the HBP DVD it says that there will be “ultimate editions” of all of the movies with over 5 hours of extras, including deleted scenes and footage. This gives me hope that we’ll get more Snape somehow in all of the movies.

Why they didn’t keep this in the movie, I’ll never know…
To me, it would have made Snape’s loyalty a bit less obvious, since he appears to be grinning a bit…

I can see why they didn’t want to put that scene into Harry Potter and the Movie about Ron and Lavender.

That was a GREAT scene. See if the rest of the movie would have been that good.
