Despite Prophecy being an inspiration for our upcoming Canadian episode, Rose was the only Snapeologist who was able to attend the conference which was held in Toronto August 2-5. Snarky was close by her side and the two of them got some fantastic pictures…
Right away Snarky made himself at home at his room in the Sheraton

There were some incredible Snape cosplayers at Prophecy…

Droxy!Snape wasn’t very appreciative of her free bottle of Snape’s Nongreasy Hair Elixir which was promptly hexed…

Snarky didn’t do any cosplaying, but he did spend an awful lot of time with that owl who cosplays a squid…

There was also some great Snape art…

There was even a shrine for Snape at which conference attendees deposited gifts for the professor…

All all, Prophecy provided another forum for Snape lovers everywhere to say goodbye to our favorite Greasy Git. RIP Professor Snape.

I did the 2nd of the 3 Snape art pictures that you showed! Prophecy was so awesome! Do you know if anyone has posted video footage of The Dance of The “Snipe’s” (to “I’m too Sexy”) at the Decade of Enchantment Ball?

LOL at that owl who cosplays a squid XD XD
Snape dead? Never!
He is not dead.
1) No body.
2) No funeral.
3) No tomb.
4) No portrait. (Yes, J.K. talked about it in the chat - but chat isn’t canon).
5) The All Prepared Master Spy and Brilliant Potions Master died from a simple snake bite? Please.
6) Remember Snape’s First Year’s speech? In his own words: “…and even put a stopper in death.”
7) J.K. never wrote that Snape was dead, only that he moved no more.
So, yes. Severus Snape lives!

I wish I could’ve gone to Prophecy. It looks like it was tons of fun.
I wonder though, how the people who created that tombstone knew the exact day he died… did they just choose a day in May?
