Due to threats of severe bodily harm and painful hexing from the Potions Master himself, Snapecast will be enforcing a strict no spoiler policy for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows until August 1, 2007. During this time, the Snapecast podcast, web site, Livejournal, and MySpace will all be spoiler free.
By spoiler free, we mean that the podcast and the associated web sites will not include:
• Spoilers or links to spoilers
• Suspected spoilers
• Art based on spoilers or suspected spoilers
• Subject lines based on spoilers or suspected spoilers
• Icons based on spoilers or suspected spoilers
We guarantee that Snapecast Episode 19 (to be released on July 15, 2007) will be spoiler free with respect to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Episode 19 will, however, contain content related to the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix film which will be released on July 11, 2007.
Snapecast Episode 20 (to be released on August 1, 2007) will contain content related to the outcome of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows so listen at your own risk! Although the podcast itself will contain spoilers, the shownotes for Episode 20 will be spoiler free and the comments will be screened for spoilers until August 15, 2007. After August 15, 2007, listen to the show and visit the associated sites at the risk of being spoiled.
As listeners, fans, community members, and Snape lovin’ lurkers, please do your part by refraining from posting comments with spoilers (even if they are placed under a cut) until after August 15, 2007. Any posts which contain content deemed to be in violation of the Snapecast Deathly Hallows Spoiler Policy will be deleted or modified. Likewise please refrain from sending the severus@snapecast.com address any spoiler-related Owlpost. Violators of this provision of the Snapecast Deathly Hallows Spoiler Policy will be subject to punishment from Snarky..and that owl can bite!

Ahhhhhhh, what are we supposed to do between July 21 and August 1 without Snapecast? All the Snape-fangirls will need therapeutical help and religious support, couldn’t we get a completely spoiled chat or something on July 25?

That was a profoundly entertaining podcast—frankly, much better than the 7th book. I laughed, got teary-eyed, and agreed with just about everything. There is one profoundly horrible person in the series–but it isn’t the Potions Master! Rather, it was a Muggle whose vision is warped by the fact that “Harry Potter” saved her from her desperate life. But had she the wit to see it, people weren’t reading the story to learn about Harry, but about the maligned and mistreated, castrated, if you will, Potions Master. We were hoping he’d give Jo what for. Well, Severus will have to get his own version of events out. That may take all of us the rest of our lives, but it will be worth it.
I sincerely doubt that I will ever purchase another work by the Authoress (a perjorative term, rather like Adventuress, Actress, or Stewardess, or others of that construction). I will, however, be waiting breathlessly for the next warm, abundantly creative, human outpouring of Snapecast. Thank you, everyone, for sharing.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who didn’t like the way Rowling handled Snape’s story. The last two books were a disappointment to me.
