I love this show!
Though I wanted to give my two knuts about the Quidditch world cup and if Snape were there. I totally think he was there, because of the Levicorpus spell, and the DE using it on the muggles that owned the land there. That was his spell in his advance potions book from book 6. So it would make sense that he were there, even if Harry didn’t seem him at the match.
The second point was about Karkaroff and why he knows Snape is a death eater and turning him in at the wizengamot is because he knows that Voldemort put him in Dumbledore’s employ and that Snape is a spy, and a damn good one at that, and he thought that would get him out of prison. Even though I don’t personally think Snape is a “bad guy” I think he’s self-serving and also that he was following Dumbledore’s orders when he murdered him, because Albus knew about Snape’s unbreakable vow and how important Snape is to the downfall of Voldemort.
I just wanted to finish by saying that I trust Severus Snape, and I love this podcast.

Well, I really think Snape was at the Quidditch World Cup! This makes sense to me. I believe Snape got a hearing short before the Lestranges and Barty Jr. came to Azkaban, because Lucius was detected as Deatheater. Usually the police check the circle of friends and Severus belonged to it and was linked to Lucius. This is the reason why he got a hearing, too. At the hearing DD vouched for Snape. This was at the very time when Snape started to work at Hogwarts. Maybe therefore the stuff wondered (McGonni in HBP) why he was hired as a teacher.
I even think that Snape and Lucius plotted in Chmaber of Secrets. Snape knew about the Horcruxes (GoF, the Deatheaters knew). He probably guessed the Diary was one (even Lucius didn´t) and he wanted to get it destroyed at Hogwarts. The Basilisk was an accident. I really believe this is the “Half-Blood Prince strand” which was deleted from COS by Rowling.
See you.
