Our final segment for each Snapecast will be Owlpost. This is where we will give our clever, cogent and sometimes snarky responses to the e-mail, voicemail, and owlposts we receive from Snape fans and foes in our audience. The next segment on our list is the Interview Segment. Fanart and fanfiction is where we get to explore Snape beyond the confines of canon. A different fanfic writer or artist will be featured every episode. You’ll get to hear straight from their lips, all about their muse, their ideas and their inspiration. So join us as we get to know the people who bring us beyond the books.
The next segment on our list is called “Snape&.” Snape& is a more casual roundtable discussion in which Snapecast staffers examine the character of Severus Snape through the filter of another topic. These other topics can be anything from other Harry Potter characters to fanfiction to personal hygiene! In our first episode, Becca, Gina, Jon and Rose discuss Snape & Alan Rickman.

The next segment we’d like to highlight is a little something called Love Potion Number 9 3/4.
Snape and fanfiction takes many forms. But nothing seems to capture the imagination of the fandom more than Snape paired up with someone else in a romantic or erotic entanglement. This segment looks at Snape as he’s shipped in various forms, and how he’s portrayed as a romantic/sex partner.
Audience contributions are welcomed. We are especially looking for authors and readers to share their favorite stories, scenes, and thoughts on what gets their hearts racing. Stay tuned for more details about how you can contribute to this segment.
